On a promenade around Warsaw we concentrate on the details by which we know the city and by which we have created our image of it. Seen from an airplane, the city contains many intriguing places to which it would be worthwhile inviting everyone, including people who know Warsaw well from the ground. Even the Trakt Królewski (the Royal Route), leading along the escarpment and clearly standing out from the city construction by its line of colored houses, takes on a new look. This route was Warsaw's the first urban axis: emerging spontaneously it gave direction to the development of the city.
