Amongst Warsaw gardens, a particular place is occupied by botanical gardens: from the oldest, by the Kazimierzowski Palace, to the contemporary ones - the university gardens on Ujazdowskie Avenue and the Botanical Garden of the Centre for the Preservation of Biological Diversity of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Powsin. On the photo - a fragment of the botanical garden in Powsin, with its collection of 900 species and varieties of land and water plants and stands of wetland and swamp plants.
