Gruba Kaśka and Chude Wojtki (Fat Kate and Skinny Wojteks) are the appealing names thought up by the employees of the Warsaw Filter Works. Gruba Kaśka is an object in the river stream - the largest sub-riverbed water-intake in Europe. Chude Wojtki are the hydraulic cultivators near Gruba Kaśka that always make sure that the Vistula bottom fulfills its role as a natural filter.
